Music has always been my language of love to God.
I came from an average family, the eldest of two, with my sister six years younger. My mom and dad both worked, so we were carted off to the sitter's house every day. One family in particular was very musical — Martha was her name. She would sit at the piano and play song after song as I danced around the table with her two boys, singing at the top of our lungs. It was so much fun!
As I grew older I sang in school choirs, church choirs, school band, and a community choir, and served as worship team leader at our church for several years. I LOVE music! I went to college to study music, but left after a year to marry.
My husband and I settled down in the Shenandoah Valley and had two beautiful boys. Fast forward to the present: we've been married more than thirty years, and our boys are grown and out on their own.
My husband and I have partnered together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in word, worship, and original songs. It is a great privilege for us to lead God's precious people into His presence. We are blessed. We are grateful. And we are overwhelmed by the love our heavenly Father has shown us.
